- Shea Butter* has unmatched regenerating and emollient properties that make it ideal to treat dry or callused hands, elbows and feet. Due to its high vitamin E content, it protects the skin from the sun, wind and frost plus it is useful to soothe redness and symptoms of dehydration. Its film-forming properties make it especially suitable for nourishing and adding shine to dry hair.
- Sweet Almond* oil has a high concentration of fatty acids that make it possible to deeply hydrate even the driest hair and skin, restoring softness and elasticity. Thanks to its composition, which is remarkably similar to the sebum produced by the skin, it is easily assimilated by the hair and skin tissues.
- Borage* oil, rich in fatty acids, including gamma-linoleic acid, supplements the emollient action of the other components and has elasticising and regenerating properties.
- Sunflower* seed oil is characterised by a broad range of vitamins, including an extremely high content of vitamin E that helps to protect the hair structure against ageing while preserving the colour against UV radiation-induced oxidation. Due to its smoothing power, it supplements the hair’s lipid part, providing softness, manageability and shine.
- Candelilla wax is a vegetable wax derived from the leaves and stems of Euphorbia cerifera, a plant native to Mexico and the southern United States. In addition to protecting the skin and retaining moisture, it also helps mix the other ingredients together, thus creating an easily workable consistency that is fastly absorbed by the skin.
- LUCENS Care Complex: extracts of Red Grape*, Flax*, Mullein*, Helichrysum* and Dyer’s Chamomile*, selected for their remarkable softening, soothing and antioxidant properties. This complex works synergistically with the other plant extracts used in the formulation and contributes to providing greater moisture to hair while ensuring better colour protection against oxidation.
