• During every nappy change, wash your baby’s bottom with mild soap and warm water (if there is no faeces, only use warm water); rinse and pat dry. If the skin is very irritated and sore, a warm bath may be a less painful option.
• Help protect and treat the area by applying Grahams Natural nappy rash cream every time you change a nappy. Wash the area with mild soap and water after each change and reapply.
• When possible, keep your baby’s nappy off for short periods. Exposing your baby’s bottom to open air will heal the rash faster and help your baby feel better.
• Be sure to use alcohol-free and unscented baby wipes to limit stinging and prevent your baby’s skin from drying out.
