I've been using this serum for years, and it suddenly became hard to get and I ran out, and my hair condition deteriorated significantly. Finally sourced it again (thank goodness), and my hair's condition has improved dramatically again. Doesn't leave residue on the hair, but makes it softer, less knotty, and stays clean longer
