- Step 1: The Memory Burn (First Time Use) ✨
- The first burn is crucial! Ensure the candle burns for at least 1.5 to 2 hours until the entire top surface has melted into a full "wax pool." This prevents "tunneling," ensuring your candle burns evenly all the way to the edge for future use.
- Step 2: Maintain the Golden Length (Trim the Wick) 🕊️
- Before relighting, always trim the wick to about 35 mm. A long wick causes flickering and soot, while a trimmed wick ensures a clean, steady flame that lets the zesty citronella and geranium notes bloom without a burnt undertone.
- Step 3: Mind the Airflow (Placement) 🚫
- Place your candle away from air conditioners or open windows with strong breezes. Drafts cause uneven burning and can lead to black soot on the beautiful artistdesigned glass. It also prevents the refreshing scent from dispersing properly throughout your room.
- Step 4: Extinguish with Care (Snuffing) 🚀
- Use a candle snuffer or dip the wick into the melted wax and straighten it back up. Avoid blowing it out with your breath! Blowing creates lingering black smoke and an acrid smell that will mask the delicate herbal aroma left in the air.
